National Governing Bodies of Sport
As part of our contract with Sport England, the Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin County Sports Partnership is working with National Governing Bodies of Sport (NGBs) to help them fulfil their plans, which aim to grow and sustain participation and encourage excellence in their sports.
One of the ways we will be supporting NGBs is by linking them with local organisations, such as local authorities, Primary Care Trusts and School Sport Partnerships, who can help the NGBs to achieve their goals while meeting local aims and objectives at the same time.
Each of the NGBs are at different stages in developing their sports plans and Sport England are letting us know if and when each NGB is ready to start working with us in Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin.
Below is a list of the NGBs currently developing their sports plans. Each NGB has a member of the Energize team allocated as their key contact. If you would like to know more about a particular NGB and see you can link your work with theirs, please contact the named Energize Officer.
